ParticipantOne of the main reasons Java is still so widely used is its maturity and ecosystem. Over the years it has built a huge base of libraries, frameworks, and tools that solve common enterprise problems out of the box. That makes development more predictable and reduces risks when building large systems that need to run reliably for many years.

ParticipantYeah, that’s exactly the tricky part — most failures come from planning and execution, not technology. A lot of companies underestimate how much critical logic is buried inside legacy code. If a vendor doesn’t properly analyze and preserve it, you can end up with a “modern” system that actually breaks real workflows.
Also, the whole “big bang rewrite” idea sounds nice, but in practice it’s super risky. Most experienced teams recommend phased modernization, where parts of the system are upgraded gradually while everything keeps running.

Participant“Yes, I too have noticed that Aviator is gaining momentum right now. I think this is due to the fact that people are looking for fast and dynamic ways to have fun. In slots, for example, you just press a button and see what comes up, but here you have some control.
I remember a friend telling me that he once waited until x100, thinking he could withdraw a huge win… In the end, he didn’t have time to click and it all burned up. Funny and sad at the same time. Such moments make the game exciting – there is always a chance, but the main thing is to stop in time.”2025年1月18日 at 上午2:27 in reply to: How do I optimize the interface and track game metrics to improve results? #23782 Score: 0Agataaa6
ParticipantInteresting topic! I usually have a standard interface in my games, but after such discussions I’m starting to think that I probably ignored modifications for nothing. It seems that they can save a lot of time and increase concentration on gameplay. I’ll have to look into this further. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
