GAMES Webinar 2021 – 195期(海外专题) | Srinath Sridhar (Brown University)

【GAMES Webinar 2021-195期】(海外专题,Talk+Panel形式)

报告嘉宾:Srinath Sridhar (Brown University)

报告题目:Perception and Generation of Physical Interactions

Building smarter robots or interactive mixed reality experiences requires deep knowledge of how humans physically move and interact with objects. In this talk, I will introduce our work on understanding human motion and physical interactions. I will begin with humans and discuss approaches for human motion perception and generation. For objects, the focus of most previous work has been on shape and appearance. But interaction understanding requires knowing about properties such as articulation — I will present some of our work on perception and generation of articulation, motion, and dynamics. Finally, I will end by taking stock of the state of the art and discussing directions for future work.

Srinath Sridhar ( is an assistant professor of computer science at Brown University. His research interests are in 3D computer vision and machine learning.
