I’m working through the NCSF Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) material, and I’m finding that some topics are easy to understand when I’m reading them but much harder when I have to apply them to an actual training situation.
I came across this resource while looking for another way to check my progress: https://www.practicetestmaster.com/ncsf-cpt-practice-test.html
For anyone who has already taken the NCSF CPT exam, what area gave you the most trouble? Exercise science, client assessment, program design, nutrition, or something else?
Also, did the exam test more on remembering specific information, or did you have to think through practical scenarios and choose the best approach?
If you could go back to your first week of NCSF prep, what would you study differently and why?
