ParticipantI’m hoping some of you Lamborghini owners can weigh in here because I’m starting to get a bit anxious about my 2018 Huracán Performante. I’ve had it for about 18 months now and it’s been an absolute monster, I still can’t get over how insane that V10 sounds when you really open it up. But over the last week or so, I’ve noticed that the gear changes feel a bit different, almost like the clutch engagement is slightly slower than it used to be, especially when I’m in stop and go traffic and the car is creeping along. It’s not slipping or anything dramatic, just a subtle change in feel that I can’t quite put my finger on. I know the dual-clutch gearbox in these cars is incredibly complex and expensive to fix if something goes wrong, so I’m trying to be proactive rather than waiting for a complete failure. I called the dealer and they quoted me a fortune just to do a diagnostic, and they said they’d need the car for at least a few days, which is a pain because I use it quite regularly. I’ve been doing some reading and it seems like finding a specialist who really understands these transmissions is absolutely key, because they can often recalibrate the clutch bite point or diagnose issues that aren’t obvious to general mechanics. I’ve been told that locating a Genuine Lamborghini Repair in Abu Dhabi that has the proper diagnostic equipment is really important because these systems are so specific and need the right tools to properly assess. Has anyone else experienced a similar change in gearbox behaviour on their Huracán or even an Audi R8 with the same transmission? I’d love to know what caused it and how much it cost to sort out. Also, if anyone can recommend a trusted workshop that won’t overcharge for the diagnostic, I’d really appreciate it. I just want some peace of mind, honestly.
