Has anyone tried a WoW mount boost after spending weeks farming a rare mount without getting the drop?

I had been farming the same mount on and off for weeks, and eventually it started feeling like I was logging in just to run the same content again and hope for a lucky drop. The low drop rate was getting pretty frustrating, especially since there were still plenty of other mounts I wanted to collect. At some point I decided to buy wow mounts instead of continuing to spend all that time on one particular drop. For me, the main advantage was simply being able to move on with the collection rather than repeating the same farm every week with nothing to show for it.
