In a new video posted to r/Overwatch, Redditor The_frost__ shows how their life as omnic hero Ramattra came to an abrupt and unexpected end while playing on the Telantis map. The clip begins with The_frost__ and their teammates gathering at a spawn point in a community-created map, showing all players excitedly waiting for the door to open. When the match started, The_frost__ charged forward, only to die suddenly and unexpectedly as soon as they hit the ground. Luckily, the nearby Mercy was able to quickly get them back on their feet and back into the fray.
Redditors who responded to the clip found the unusual glitch hilarious, with one comment saying that seeing La Matera “stumble and die has no right to be this funny.” Some users tried to find an explanation for the unexpected failure of the omnic, thinking that The_frost__ might Somehow it was crushed when the door was opened. Other Redditors were amused by how Mercy simply rezzed the unexpected death of Ramattra without question, leading one to joke that it was “just another day in the life” for the angelic Overwatch 2 healer.
