JustinParticipantVictorious Fate drops from Chetza, known as the Feathered Plague, who is one of the three unique tenth-tier bosses encountered in the Trial of Chaos event in Path of Exile 2. The Trial of Chaos consists of 10 waves of progressively difficult monsters and bosses, with the final boss appearing randomly among three possible foes: Bahlak the Sky Seer (who drops Deadly Fate), Uxmal the Beastlord (who drops Cowardly Fate), and Chetza the Feathered Plague (who drops Victorious Fate).
Chetza is a hazardous boss characterized by his bird-like plague theme. He attacks using beak stabs, spraying vomit, and blood projectiles that bounce unpredictably. At around 75% health, he summons additional plaguing allies that respawn continuously, making the fight lingering and dangerous. Players are advised to have good bleed resistance and multi-target skills to manage the constant threat from Chetza’s summons and attacks.
Each run of the Trial of Chaos will randomly pit players against one of these three bosses at the tenth wave, meaning players need persistence and multiple completions to collect all three Fate items. Victorious Fate is essential for unlocking the door to the Trialmaster fight and therefore critical for endgame progression.
To farm Victorious Fate efficiently, understanding and mastering the fight against Chetza is crucial, especially focusing on managing his summoning mechanics and avoiding damage from his area attacks.
Besides farming through the Trial of Chaos, players can also acquire specific Fates through trading or the in-game currency exchange systems if they have the resources to buy them, thus bypassing the RNG grind to some extent.
Unlocking Victorious Fate involves defeating Chetza the Feathered Plague in the tenth wave of the Trial of Chaos. This encounter is both a test of skill and endurance and a gateway to facing the Trialmaster, Path of Exile 2’s infamous endgame boss.
