Players will be happy to know their Sims can loose their teeth again and wait for the Tooth Fairy after the most recent Sims 4 update. After The Sims 3 expansion pack, fans have been waiting for something like this to be added to the latest game in the series. Now, nearly a decade after the release of The Sims 4, players are finally getting what they wanted in The Sims 4 Growing Together expansion pack—a DLC that includes family play features. Players can prepare enough of The Sims 4 Standard Edition in the game.
Unfortunately, as is customary with many major updates, Growing Together introduced quite a few bugs into the game. Just days after its release, players were sharing hilarious videos of their baby Sims going through a midlife crisis. Some bugs are usually not too frustrating and even cause a few laughs, but sometimes, dealing with them can be a hassle – especially when they prevent players from trying out features added by new packs.
When Grow Together was first introduced to fans, one of the many features the Sims team showed off was the loose tooth mechanic. This addition causes Sims to sometimes loose their teeth during childhood. Once a tooth is out or pulled out, Sim can place it under the pillow for the Tooth Fairy to spend the night. Unfortunately, this feature was temporarily removed shortly after release, but now appears to be back in the game with a new update.
The Loose Teeth feature has been removed from The Sims 4 due to the disturbing glitch it caused under certain circumstances – it caused damage that changed the appearance of Sims’ skin. It’s just one of various mistakes that have occurred over the life of the game that have led to horrific aesthetic changes to characters in The Sims 4.
This might just be a minor patch update, but many players will certainly be happy to have this feature available, especially those who bought the pack after it was removed and will only try it now. Even though The Sims 4 has been around for so long, it’s good to know that the developers are still hard at work and trying to fix any bugs they may find as quickly as possible in order to keep the game running for fans.
