How I Close Apps on Apple TV Fast—No More Freezing!

Apple TV is great—until an app freezes. A sluggish app can ruin your streaming experience, but there’s a quick fix. Instead of restarting your entire device, close the app in seconds.
Here’s how:
Double-press the TV button on your Siri Remote. This opens the App Switcher.
Swipe left or right to find the frozen app.
Swipe up on the remote’s touch surface to close it.
That’s it! The app is now fully closed, and you can reopen it for a fresh start. If your Apple TV still lags, restart it by going to Settings > System > Restart.
