I also used to think that games are just entertainment, but recently I tried to use them as a tool for preparing for exams, and the result surprised me. Logical and strategic games were especially helpful – they develop critical thinking, improve the ability to quickly analyze information and find non-standard solutions. For example, I used puzzles and quizzes on my subjects, and this turned out to be much more interesting than regular cramming. And games with time management elements helped me learn how to effectively manage time during the exam.
