由于我所学的专业是color science，所以在这里我提出一点我的看法。
在lecture20的ppt82页中，CIELab中的L*是lightness/brightness。这一点是不准确的，在color science中，lightness和brightness是两种不同的概念。定义如下：
brightness：Attribute of a visual sensation according to which an area appears to emit, or reflect, more or less light.
lightness：The brightness of an area judged relative to the brightness of a similarly illuminated area that appears to be white or highly transmitting.
因此可以简单地理解为，brightness是一个绝对量，lightness是一个相对量。
在CIELab中，L*是lightness，而不是brightness，附上课本中的详细解释，希望有帮助。
（如果有人对color的内容感兴趣，可以读Roy S.Berns的” Principles of color technology”，非常详细的讲了关于color的知识。
